August Greene, which consists of Common, Robert Glasper & Karriem Riggins, release the official video for their first single "Optimistic", featuring Brandy, from their upcoming debut self-titled album which will be released as an Amazon Original on March 9th. The video was filmed in Jackson, Mississippi over Martin Luther King Day weekend, and features the Jackson-area activists Hollis Watkins, Frankye Adams Johnson, Dr. Cindy Ayers Elliot, Mayor Chokwe Antar Lumumba, ad the Maddrama Performance Group, check it out above.
